CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

 

Mixed Level: Appropriate for both beginners and those experienced with yoga. Class includes a beginner to intermediate combination of Hatha and Energy Body Yoga and will be tailored to the experience level of members who attend.

 

Intermediate Level: Class includes a vinyasa-flow linking standing, floor and balancing poses to an Adv. Intermediate level sun salutation.  Inversions and back bending also included. Recommended for those with 1-2 yrs + experience with yoga, or those who wish to deepen their Hatha practice.

 

Self-Healing Yoga: Appropriate for all levels, this class helps practitioners circulate energy and recover the natural balance of the body and mind.  Mon 6pm & Tues 7am class includes moving the body and feeling the energy created through meridian stretching, chakra dancing, tapping, vibration, breathing & releasing.  Fri 12pm class includes gentle & mindful meridian stretching, coupled with focused breathing as well as guidance on self-healing & stress reduction.  

 

Introduction to YogaIntroduces the beginning student to the fundamentals of establishing a yoga practice.  Class content includes freeing up the breath, relaxation/restorative exercises, form instruction on beginning poses and basic movement principles of Yoga. Meridian stretching and basic energy body work also included. 

 

Sincerity Training: Bowing is a mind-body-spirit practice, not connected with any particular religion or dogma, but as a way to integrate the three bodies and communicate with our inner essence.  Bowing is about the development of internal and external grace.  It exists for self-reflection and is a conversation with our own true nature.  Bowing is also a low-impact, symmetrical exercise that produces a light cardio-vascular workout.  When practiced regularly, bowing helps maintain a sense of vitality, helps practitioners grow awareness of how energy works in the body and generates a more hopeful and positive outlook on life.  

 

Growing Your Soul Series: This drop-in series (For Finding Your True Self Grads) will provide the tools, guidance, support & environment to develop and sustain a connection to your True Self.  Sessions will include lecture on principles, physical exercise, energy practice, meditation, sharing and re-connecting with fellow practioners.

If you are new to the studio please arrive 15 minutes early. Bring a yoga mat, water, wear comfortable clothing, refrain from wearing perfume/cologne and be prepared to take off shoes and socks. It is recommended to refrain from eating at least 2 hours before class.  Mats can be borrowed and are also available for purchase.
